Looking Through The Glass

I’m one final paper, two music videos and one short film away from fully being able to concentrate on my internship and summer. I can do this! I hope.

The last few weeks have been PURE TORTURE. I can’t believe I even made it out alive. Papers, deadlines, mini-breakdowns and a whole lotta sunshine almost drowned me into near insanity. Thank the gods for friends. They almost always manage to relieve me of the stress that also almost always never fail to pile up everyday. Fortunately, I’ve finished all the things I’m supposed to do for the sem (although I did miss my midterms in Polsci 51, that still haunts me a few seconds of everyday but I manage :)). In any case, I now only have my internship to worry about. 

*cue segue*

Snowbank-ed

Busy busy busy! Wow, days have gone by and I haven’t had a long breather in a while. Our TV Prod class is a killer! Aside from the talk show that we have to do, note: every week, we also have a documentary to make in groups; two music videos and a short film by partner; aand two segments in Tagalog and English from our assigned beats (me and a ‘partner’ got DOLE - Department of Labor and Employment). Ugh! My head’s already spinning just thinking about it. The sooner all of this is done, the sooner I can get back to just chilling out. Somehow it’s become part of my routine every single day to just relax and do nothing but all these school work is proving to be quite a hindrance to my chillin’ time. 

It’s past 4 am and I haven’t had sleep since yesterday. Yeahp, TV Prod. I have nothing against our teacher, the subject or the projects but a loooong break wouldn’t be so bad righy now. It’s midterms and I’ve got other shiz to study as much as I want to focus on this one major since I have fun in it. Whew! My head feels all floaty now, in any case I guess this is good groundwork for us since we’ll all be applying for internship this summer which, by the way, I’m dreading just a teensy bit. 

Hungry, sleepy and woozy. They may as well be my dwarfs. x
